The earth is in distress. We are entering a stage in a cycle where things are crumbling...falling apart. The comforts that man has built are failing and we are realizing as a species that we have lost touch with the things that matter in this world. Our families...nature...and spirit. We have been separated by this illusion. Now...that illusion is being shown to us. Many of us have been isolated and forced to remember those things of importance. Those very simple things...
The song is about the water. The water that is here today, is the same water that has been here since creation sprung forth. The same water that passed through the first creatures has been transferred through millennia to us today. Our eldest ancestors cried tears of joy and the have cried tears of pain... just like you and I. Those tears have hit the earth and sunken deep into its roots over and over again. We consume the tears and pass them right back into the earth. The tears we leave behind will carry on into the future generations until we and the earth are no more. The tears of the Elders come down as the rain and nourish our gardens. The Elders tears flow over us as we wade in the mountains creeks. The elders tears, nourish and cleanse us. Our bodies are made up of these elden tears and without them, we would cease to be. Let this song remind you of what we have been separated from. May it cleanse the spirit.
